The Underground Railroad in Northern Allegheny

At great personal risk, northern Allegheny farmers played a large role in the Underground Railroad, which secretly transported enslaved people to freedom in safe northern states and Canada. Acting Richland History Group President Paul R. White will give a presentation detailing the specifics of our four local mid-19th century “stations” and their “station masters”.

Join us on Saturday, December 9th at 10:30 AM for this historic presentation. Registration is required.
