Join us for an exciting celebration of creativity and making! We will be opening our Pine-Richland Makerspace on February 15, 2016 at 2:30 pm. For this special occasion we’re asking you to participate in an impromptu art show. Create an art piece with materials found in our new Makerspace. The best piece will receive a $50 gift card to amazon! We’ll have a photo booth, snacks and tons of making activities to enjoy.
But what is this Makerspace and what will it offer? The aim is to engage our community in an interactive way. Open Monday through Thursday 2:30 to 5:30 pm at Northern Tier Library’s Pine Center in Pine-Richland High School, the Makerspace will encourage users to do arts and crafts, woodworking, sewing, and other projects. The Pine-Richland Makerspace will have the tools and materials that users need to create, explore, and play. It will also have cutting edge technology tools available for anyone to use.
This space was made possible by contributions by Mae Dreier Memorial Fund and the Sprout Fund
Every Monday we’ll host Maker Mondays, we will invite facilitators to create specific projects related to arts, crafts, electronics, sewing and many more.
