Join us on Friday, September 10 at 7:00 PM for a LIVE beer tasting that will showcase the best brews our city has to offer. Plus, you’ll take home a commemorative beer glass.
Depending on release dates, we will be featuring beers from some of these Pittsburgh innovators:
• Brew Gentlemen
• Cinderlands Beer Co.
• Dancing Gnome Brewery
• Hitchhiker Brewing Co.
• Old Thunder Brewing Co.
Each attendee will enjoy a robust Pittsburgh charcuterie board along with six different beers. Final choices will be determined by release dates, but will be chosen from the following:
• Light Style Pilsner
• Lager
• Hop Forward (IPA or double IPA)
• Hefeweizen
• Porter or Cream Ale
Help us bring the tasting to a sweet ending! Bring a dozen of your favorite cookies, and we will create a Pittsburgh cookie table to enjoy with our last beer sample.
Because this event will be held in September, Love Your Library month, all proceeds will receive a pro-rated match from the Buncher Foundation.
Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased in person at the library, or (coming soon) online via our website at northerntierlibrary.org. Reservations will be taken until Friday, September 3, and all registrants must be at least 21 years of age.
