June 15: Bridget’s Book Club (The Island of Sea Women)
Set on the Korean island of Jeju, this novel follows Mi-ja and Young-sook, two individuals from different backgrounds, as they work in the sea with their village’s all-female diving collective. After hundreds of dives and decades of friendship, forces outside their control will push their relationship to the breaking point. Join us for a discussion of The Island of Sea Women by Lisa See.
June 22: Knitting Possibilities (Part One)
Help someone this summer by knitting scarves or hats for an individual who may be struggling. For more information, check out their website at knithope.org.

July 13: Bridget’s Book Club (The Guncle)
GUP (Gay Uncle Patrick) loves his niece and nephew. When his sister-in-law passes away, he steps in as a guardian to the children. But loving and taking responsibility are two very different things. As Patrick rises to his new responsibilities, he discovers that he is just the person these children need, and in the process, heals himself. Join us for a book discussion of The Guncle by Steven Rowley.
July 20: Journal Night
Do you keep a journal? Would you like to be able to write your own? Here is your opportunity! Explore the written world through journaling prompts, readings, and reflection.
