The Lore of the Monarch
Thursday, June 17, 7:00 – 8:00 PM
Monarchs are beautiful butterflies, and they can use our help! Jeanine Ging is a PA Master Naturalist and citizen scientist who practices monarch conservation. She runs two monarch waystations and tagging sites. Join her in this Zoom discussion to learn more about the issues of migration, life cycles, and conservation. Find out what you can do to help the monarch population! Registration is required to receive the Zoom meeting invitation link.

The Wildlife-Friendly Backyard
Thursday, July 15, 7:00 – 8:00 PM
Have you seen articles lately about butterfly populations declining? Or maybe you’ve made your own observations, noticing fewer birds at your feeders or not as many fireflies twinkling in the night? Now more than ever, our wildlife neighbors need our help and there are things we can do to make a huge impact on the wildlife that shares our space. Join us via Zoom for a talk from PA Master Naturalist Andrea Halfhill to learn some ways to make your yard a better habitat for wildlife and why it’s so important. Registration is required to receive the Zoom meeting invitation link.
