Theater games are for anyone looking to improve confidence, gain focus and add positivity into their daily life. This workshop will allow children to unlock their creativity in a fun and supportive place. The session will begin with warm-up exercises and quickly move into team building and character development using a series of fun theater games. While having fun and making new friends, children will improve their listening skills, collaborate with peers and spark their imagination. No prior acting experience necessary, just bring a smile.
Warm-up exercises include Name Game, Zip Zap Zop and Bunny, Bunny. The warm-ups allow us to get to know each other and become comfortable with the group. Other activities include Mirror, One-Word Story, The Adverb Acting Game and Gibberish Interpreter. These improv techniques allow the group to focus on communication and team building. And, naturally, plenty of laughs along the way.
