ACLA Presents: Library Road Trip

Did you know that there are 45 public libraries outside the City of Pittsburgh in Allegheny County? Some are big, some small. Some you can walk to, others require a car or bus. But all of them provide much more than books—they offer programming for patrons of all ages, and are welcoming places in their communities.

The Allegheny County Library Association is proud to announce the launch of Library Road Trip, a new program which challenges everyone to visit as many libraries in our county as possible!

The program begins on July 17 and the rules are simple: visit any suburban Allegheny County library to pick up a library passport, or print your own at home. While you are there get a stamp for your first library, then plan to visit some, or all, of the others! Participants will receive prizes for every library visited, completing a region (as noted on the passport), and visiting all libraries in the county.

Please visit aclalibraries.org for complete details and the ability to download your own passport booklet.
