On May 22nd, we’ll be taking part in Remake Learning Days with a special project: Makey Makey Pianos. Use our Makey Makey kits to create a small pop-up keyboard that can be plugged into the computer. You can play music and record a song of your own! Props will be provided to enhance the Makey Makey Pianos.
This event will take place at both the Pine Center and Northern Tier – you may attend at either center, no need to attend both (unless you’re having too much fun!). We’ll start the event here at the Pine Center from 2:30-5:30, then continue the fun over at the Richland Center from 6:30-7:30.
Registration is requested. To register: call, stop in, or follow this link: http://

What exactly is this Makerspace and what will it offer? Our goal is to engage our community in an interactive way. Open Monday through Thursday, 2:30 to 5:30 PM, at Northern Tier Library’s Pine Center in Pine-Richland High School, the Makerspace will encourage users to do arts and crafts, woodworking, sewing, and other projects.
Every Monday we’ll host Maker Mondays, where facilitators will be invited to create projects related to arts, electronics, sewing, and more. Please see the calendar at the lower right-hand side of the page for dates and more information.
This space was made possible thanks to contributions by the Mae Dreier Memorial Fund and the Sprout Fund.
