Summer is almost here! Northern Tier Regional Library invites all children from birth to 18 to participate in our Summer Reading Club 2015: Every Hero Has a Story and Unmask! Join us for programs and prizes all summer long. This year we will be trying a new way to log your books. Sign up for the Summer Reading Club and receive a book bag and a folder to collect stamps. You’ll be able to collect up to 50 stamps all summer long and exchange them for awesome prizes at our Summer Reading Club Bash.
Rules for all ages:
- One stamp per book read.
- One stamp per program attended.
- Collect up to 6 stamps for books per visit (you can earn an extra one for a program attended on the same day)
- You can earn up to 50 stamps.
We can’t wait for you to start collecting and completing all 50 stamps. In the meantime we’ll also have prizes and other raffles that will keep you occupied… oh and lots of books, movies and games too!

Racing? Check. Excitement? Check. Circuit cars and custom race tracks? Check! Come and work on your own circuit board car and compete with others. Nintendo themed crafts will be available. Registration is required. - June 22: Pokémon
Pokémon are cute, fierce, and unique, but they can be similar to real life bugs and deep sea creatures! Come and learn about unusual animals and compare them to the Pokémon you know. We’ll play a trivia game and make some Pokémon crafts. Registration is required. - June 29: Lego Heroes
We love superheroes, but we’re crazy about Lego heroes! Come and create a simple animation using Legos. Lego Heroes activities and crafts will also be available. Registration is required. - July 6: Minecraft
Prepare yourself for some mining activities alongside Steve! Fight some creepers and help us collect some chocolate chips out of cookies. All kinds of Minecraft games and activities await you… if you can survive the night. Registration is required. - July 13: The Avengers
By now you know all about Tony Stark (that’s Ironman, but you knew that, right?) and The Avengers. Play with robots and technologies just like Tony Stark does. A variety of Avengers crafts and activities await you! Registration is required. - July 20: Big Hero 6
Did you know that Baymax’s suit was made in a 3D printer? Come and see a 3D printer in action with your own eyes. We will have a demonstration, as well as Big Hero 6 activities and crafts. Registration is required. - July 27: The Powerpuff Girls
Sugar, spice, and everything nice (along with a dash of Chemical X) were used to create The Powerpuff Girls! Join us for a chemistry lesson with our friends at PPG. Learn about cool chemical reactions and make some Powerpuff Girl crafts. Registration is required.

You did it! You are a hero! Come and celebrate the end of our Summer Reading Club! Come promptly at 11:00 AM for a juggling show, followed by the opening of our Prize Market! Don’t forget your Summer Reading Club stamp card. Play games, make crafts, and enjoy snacks. Hooray for reading!
