Want to learn to make your own delicious maple syrup? Tony Miga, Director of Chatham University’s Eden Hall Farm, will lead a discussion on maple tapping and maple sugaring. Topics covered will include tree identification, basics of tree tapping, sap collection, and syrup making. This workshop will be geared to home-scale or very small-scale farm production. Anyone with an interest in producing their own maple syrup or learning more about the process is encouraged to attend.
