Authors Night

Thursday, October 17, 7:00 – 9:00 PM

The Friends of the Northern Tier Library are proud to present their annual Authors Night. The evening will feature four local authors:

Annette Dashofy has spent her entire life in rural Pennsylvania. She is the USA Today best-selling author of the Zoe Chambers mystery series. Her latest book, the eighth in the series, is Fair Game.

Abigail Drake writes women’s fiction, young adult fiction, and blogs about her naughty Labrador, Capone. Her newest book, Love, Chocolate, & a Dog Named Al Capone, is set in Beaver.

Donald Firesmith lives in Crafton, Pennsylvania and writes modern paranormal fantasy and apocalyptic science fiction. He has authored seven technical books, but his foray into fiction includes The Secrets of Hawthorne House.

Kathleen George is a professor of theatre and writing at the University of Pittsburgh. She has a series of procedural thrillers set in Pittsburgh, as well as The Johnstown Girls, her historical fiction novel about the Johnstown Flood.

This program will be about an hour long, followed by a question and answer session with refreshments. The authors will have copies of their books for sale and available to sign. Registration is required.
