The monarch butterfly is one of North America’s most easily recognized species with its wing colors of orange, black, and white. It is also a species in peril due to climate changes, loss of habitat, and pesticides. Join Kimberly Vensel, a photographer who also raises monarch butterflies, for an educational program. Learn about the monarch’s life cycle and amazing migration displayed through Kimberly’s photographs. She will also discuss what we can all do to help, including the best native plants to grow in our own gardens. There is no charge for this program, but advance registration is required.
