Thursday, May 25, 7:00-9:00 PM
Do you knit, crochet,or craft in any way? If not, would you like to learn? Beginners are invited to come and learn; experienced crafters are invited to bring a project to work on. Everyone is encouraged to bring their latest read to talk about. This group meets on the fourth Thursday of every month.
Knit a Better World; Part One
Thursday, June 22, 7:00 – 9:00 PM
Knit Lit will participate in the summer reading club by knitting a scarf for the Red Scarf Project.
The Red Scarf Project is a call to knitters and crocheters to create a homemade scarf to give to foster children who have aged out of the system and are on their way to college. We will go over the guidelines and hand out some pattern ideas. In addition, if you do not know how to knit but would like to learn, we can teach you!
This program is part of our Adult Summer Reading Club. Click here to learn more and see other upcoming programs!
Knit a Better World; Part Two
