Three friends have come to a cross-roads in their lives – retirement, widowhood, and empty nests have lead them to take a chance. They leave their cushy suburban lives and buy a “fixer-upper” in the Shenandoah Valley. This novel is a gentle read – like a hot summer day on a big shady porch. It is the first in a series: subsequent books are “At Home on Ladybug Farm,” “Love Letters from Ladybug Farm,” and “Christmas on Ladybug Farm.”
